guys as you noticed our section is basically useless well i kinda always thought that Adult section are not really best way to attract people
so what you think ? should we keep it or be done with it

I have never really used the adult section here, usually I had it minimized so I could scroll the board easier. So from me, I am not too worried either way. I think pornographic material is one of those things that if people want it there are many places that specialize in that kind of thing.

I don't think its the kind of thing that we need here. That's just my 10 cents anyway :P

I agree with AT and clunker. To me it is just wasted space at best. One thing I have noticed in the past is that it can cause issues with people spamming the board to get access if a certain post count is required and then making demands about the quality (if there is such a beast) of the posts that are made thus causing more trouble and work for whoever is unfortunate to mod the section. Another and more disturbing reaction can be seen when you get genuine people signing up, discovering an adult section and deciding that the forum is offensive because of the porn section and never returning.

After careful discussion I've come to a conclusion of an Adult section, more for discussion than anything, should be implemented into the board.

Discussing topics related to adult content, such as Q&A and advice, should be accessible to members if they wish so.

Even some pictures here and there, possibly a link or two should hold no harm, but full length smut should be kept off.

Thoughts?

This seems reasonable; although, we really should evaluate how much good a discussion section can do with our current member base. Otherwise, as long as we can get some discussion, I'm all for adding discussion sections.

Agreed, I'm working on the member issue at this moment, though it is not much of an issue, just something that we should work on.

Let's not forget that adding in this forum might attract more members as well.
